Matteson Realty Services, Inc. ("MRSI") is the chief operating company under the Matteson Companies umbrella. It is a licensed California real estate broker, and functions as the property and asset management company responsible for the overall performance of portfolio investments. MRSI is focused on making aggressive, hands-on property management and asset management a central focus of our investment and development operation. Senior management of MRSI includes individuals with decades of practical experience as well as professional training in business, law, accounting and advanced property management skills and techniques. Our principals have long-standing involvement in the real estate industry, including leadership roles in local, state and national apartment trade groups, such as the Tri-County Apartment Association, California Apartment Association, National Multi-Housing Council, Chamber of Commerce and various other industry advocacy groups.

Matteson Real Estate Equities, Inc. ("MREEI") was founded in 1995 in order to provide a vehicle for the principals of the Companies to invest in and manage the assets within the portfolio. In that capacity, MREEI typically functions as a "member manager" of investment entities (Limited Liability Companies) formed to acquire completed and stabilized investments and/or development opportunities. MREEI generally invests in each property acquired for the portfolio, and participates in the economic success of an investment through its participation in the management of the asset. Through this approach, the principals of the Companies view opportunities for investment and the ongoing management issues from the perspective of owner and manager.

JB Matteson, Inc. ("JB Matteson") was formed in 2006 as a partnership of the Matteson principals and John Bellack, an experienced and very successful investment professional with 22 years experience in the institutional investment and advisory business. Acquisitions officers, acquisitions associates, asset managers, and administrative personnel will be dedicated to execute the investment strategy and provide service to institutional investors. These personnel will be assisted by the full resources of The Matteson Companies, including development, design, construction management, property management, administrative and accounting functions. This enterprise capitalizes on the strengths of The Matteson Companies and the investment experience of Mr. Bellack to build an investment management company in partnership with institutional investors.
MATTESON MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INC. (DRE Lic. 01204246)
Matteson Management Services, Inc. ("MMS") was formed to employ on-site management personnel for the various property types within the Matteson Companies portfolio of investments. Through this aggregation of the on-site employment functions, MMS can provide the required services to our investment properties with significant efficiencies in the areas of payroll administration, benefits, accounting and related functions. This structure enables us to provide attractive and market-competitive employment opportunities to on-site personnel, under the overall supervision of regional property managers at MRSI.
