HELEN K. YI
Vice President and General Counsel
Helen began her career at Deloitte & Touche in the employee benefits practice group, counseling clients on a variety of employment matters, such as executive and director compensation, various employment agreements and stock option and other employee benefit plans. She also practiced with a Palo Alto law firm and Wulfsberg Reese Colvig & Firstman PC in Oakland, specializing in corporate law and real estate. She has experience in real property law, including commercial real estate acquisitions, leasing, sales and management. She has represented high technology companies, start-ups, insurance companies, professional business entities and retail clients in a wide range of corporate transactions, including asset sales, stock sales and securities filings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity financings, public offerings and reorganizations. Helen also has extensive experience in foreign and domestic business entity formations, corporate compliance and shareholder and director matters.
Helen is a member of the Palo Alto Area, Santa Clara County, Alameda County, San Francisco and Korean American Bar Associations and the State Bar of California. She also serves as legal counsel to the Asian American Cancer Support Network, a California non-profit organization. Helen earned her Bachelor's of Science degree from Santa Clara University with honors and her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
