GRAHAM CHERNOFF
Senior Vice President, JB Matteson, Inc.
Graham Chernoff serves as Senior Vice President. Mr. Chernoff has over 10 years experience in the acquisition and financing of all types of income producing real estate. Prior to joining Matteson, Mr. Chernoff performed the acquisition, disposition, and debt placement for Invesco Real Estate, a large pension fund advisor and, most recently, Acacia Capital Corporation, an institutional money management firm focused on residential investments. At Acacia, Mr. Chernoff was responsible for sourcing multifamily acquisitions in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Arizona. During his three year tenure at Acacia, Mr. Chernoff acquired $400 million in multifamily investments. Prior to his acquisitions experience, Mr. Chernoff spent 5 years in the commercial real estate finance sector working for institutional lenders such as Bank of America and Nomura Securities. His finance experience includes originating and underwriting: construction loans, bridge loans, CMBS loans, Fannie Mae DUS loans, mezzanine and preferred equity investments.
Mr. Chernoff received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California . He is currently a Board Member of both Belden Real Estate Club and Rebuilding Together San Francisco, and is a member of the Olympic Club.
